"I've been associated with the Elks from the age of 14, initially keeping score for their bowling league. After serving in Vietnam, I returned and resumed scoring. At 20 and a half, I officially joined as a member and have now been part of the organization for 50 years."

"A friend of mine invited my husband and me to join, mentioning their significant support for veterans. My father served in the Navy during WWII. We were already active at the VA, and after meeting everyone at the Elks, we said yes!"

I became an Elk, because one, I was asked to join, two, I liked the community service and scholarship programs. I now head up the scholarship program for the Lodge and love working with our youth."
